Show Technical Document Details
Issue:
There are have few Fiber Channel interfaces whose bandwidth utilization is showing above 100%. The element configuration shows the discovered speed as 4294967296 bits/sec whereas, the actual speed is 8 Gbps.
Environment:
eHealth 6.3.1
Cisco NX-OS(tm) m9300, Software (m9300-s1ek9-mz), Version 8.2(1).
Cause:
eHealth is using the MIB translation file  cisco-fibrechannel-port.mtf which uses the OID ifSpeed for the speed values.
The OID ifSpeed is 32 bit and maxes out at a value of 4294967296.

Resolution:
This issue has been corrected in the latest revisions of eHealth.

The MTF used in the latest revisions is cisco-fibrechannel-port-HC-hs.mtf, which uses the ifHighSpeed OID which can handle speeds above 4294967296.
