Availability Reports in SPECTRUM Report Manager shows 100% available when device is reported down.

Description

Outstanding outages (Devices down) have been reported for models in Spectrum Oneclick and these outages are not being reflected in the Spectrum Availability Report.

Solution

Make sure the event "device not responding to poll" ( 0x10d35 ) has occurred for the model in Oneclick: check the event tab for the history of the outage.

To configure this particular event to be logged into the historical database using Spectrum Event Configuration Editor

  1. Open Event Configuration Editor.
  2. Filter for the particular event.
  3. Select Event Options tab.
  4. Place a check under Logging next to Store Event in Historical Database.
    When this event is logged in the DDMDB, it will synch with the SRM database, which will update the tables allowing the outage to be reported in the Report Manager.
