Is a Workload Automation AE tie breaker needed if attempting to run in HA mode using Oracle RAC?
1 - Oracle RAC
1 - Primary Scheduler AE
1 - Shadow Scheduler AE
1 - Tie-breaker scheduler AE ?
A Tie-breaker Scheduler is only needed if attempting to configure Workload Automation AE in Dual scheduler mode AND using Dual Event Servers.
This means having two different databases that AE would keep in sync.
When configuring Workload Automation AE to use one Oracle RAC environment a Tie-breaker scheduler is not needed.
Oracle RAC using TAF mode is now supported with Workload Automation AE 11.3.6 sp7
Prior Workload Automation AE releases could use Oracle RAC but only in NON-TAF mode.
