Audit logs being generated by WCC or EEM

We are having audit logs being generated after upgrading to AE 11.3.6 sp5 and WCC 11.4.x and EEM 12.5x.  

What is generating these files and can it be disabled?


File in question: C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\EmbeddedEntitlementsManager\logs\audit.log





The audit.log file(s) are where the EEM logged events are stored. In prior EEM versions they were stored in the EEM database and potentially in some external files, if the database became full.  These events are not required for normal operations. They would provide a level of auditing to see what policies were checked and attempted. 


To disable them do the following: 

Login to the EEM UI with the application drop down set to Global 

Proceed to the Manage Access Policies tab 

Select Policies 

Under the Explicit Grants tab select Event Policies. 

For each of the policies seen in the right hand window pane, modify the policy setting them to be "Disabled".

The same procedure should be done for each application registered to EEM.

For example: The applications WCC0004 and WorkloadAutomationAE.
