Asset Portfolio Management causes decline in SQL performance

Issue:

We noticed that the CPU usage in the APM SQL Server is high at 100%. When we stop APM services the CPU usage goes back to normal.

Environment:
APM 14.1MS SQL Server
Cause:

This can be caused by a large amount of data in the owned resource audit table and the CMDB audit is enabled.

Resolution:

If you no longer need CMDB audit you can disable the optionĀ ITAM user interface > Administration > System Configuration > Event Service > "Is CMDB Audit Share Required".

Alternatively you might need to archive some of the audit data. If this is required please consult CA Support for assistance.
