Issue:
Are Automic Archive, Reorg, Unload Maintenance Utilities running correctly?
Resolution:
PLEASE NOTE: Automic Support does not recommend running SQL statements against a production database and cannot provide Support for any problems that arise due to running SQL statements. We would recommend running SQL statements against a real-time clone or copy of a production database if necessary in order to lower the impact to the Automic system.

Here are some SQL Statements that can be used to verify that the Automic Utilities are running correctly.

*steps 2 through 4 only need to be run if you run the archive utility

1) Run the statements:

select count(*), ah_client from ah group by ah_client;
select count(*), rh_client from rh group by rh_client;
select count(*), meld_client from meld group by meld_client;
select count(*) FROM RT;

*2) Before the archive is run:

select count(ah_archiveflag), ah_archiveflag from ah group by ah_archiveflag;
select count(rh_archiveflag), rh_archiveflag from rh group by rh_archiveflag;
select count(meld_archiveflag), meld_archiveflag from meld group by meld_archiveflag;

*3) run archive (if applicable)

*4) Run statements again:

select count(ah_archiveflag), ah_archiveflag from ah group by ah_archiveflag;
select count(rh_archiveflag), rh_archiveflag from rh group by rh_archiveflag;
select count(meld_archiveflag), meld_archiveflag from meld group by meld_archiveflag;

5) Run new statements:

select count(ah_deleteflag), ah_deleteflag from ah group by ah_deleteflag;
select count(rh_deleteflag), rh_deleteflag from rh group by rh_deleteflag;
select count(meld_deleteflag), meld_deleteflag from meld group by meld_deleteflag;

6) Run reorg

7) Run statements:

select count(ah_deleteflag), ah_deleteflag from ah group by ah_deleteflag;
select count(rh_deleteflag), rh_deleteflag from rh group by rh_deleteflag;
select count(meld_deleteflag), meld_deleteflag from meld group by meld_deleteflag;

8) Run unload

9) Run statements:
select count(ah_deleteflag), ah_deleteflag from ah group by ah_deleteflag;
select count(rh_deleteflag), rh_deleteflag from rh group by rh_deleteflag;
select count(meld_deleteflag), meld_deleteflag from meld group by meld_deleteflag;
select count(*), ah_client from ah group by ah_client;
select count(*), rh_client from rh group by rh_client;
