Archive manager fails to start due to a database corruption detected (Legacy KB ID CNC TS32769 )

Show Technical Document Details
Copy the ddmdb attribute tables from another equivalent SPECTRUM 8.1 installation to the faulty installation.


Then run ddm_load -i <landscape handle>.


Stop/restart the SpectroSERVER and Archive Manager.

Causes of this problem:
In the ARCHMGR.OUT:


ERROR at ModelArchDBImp.cc(6054): doSqlQuery/mysql_query: Failure executing query:
SHOW COLUMNS FROM attribute LIKE 'attribute_name' - Table 'ddmdb.attribute' doesn't exist


Database corruption detected:
    ddmdb.attribute - Table 'ddmdb.attribute' doesn't exist


Error opening the DDM database. One or more tables are corrupt.
Recovery options:


  1. Run `ArchMgr -repair` to attempt recovery
  2. Load a valid DDM savefile using `ddm_load <savefile>`
  3. Initialize the DDM database using `ddm_load -i <LANDSCAPE_HANDLE>`
