Approved time sheets are not posted

Issue:
Approved time sheets are not posted. The job is scheduled to run every 15 minutes but nothing happens. Tried to run the job run immediately but the whole application becomes irresponsive for 5 minutes. Timesheets are still not posted.
Environment:
CA PPM v14.3, v14.4, v15.1, v,15.2, v15.3, v15.4, v15.4.1, v15.5
Cause:
It was quite some time ago that the PPM app and bg service was restarted.
Resolution:
1. Search for 'Wrapper Started as Daemon' in the app-system.log to see when the app service was started.

2. Go to 'Administration' -> 'Process Engines' -> please check the 'Start Date' and 'Last Heart Beat' for the bg process.

3. If you find any issues with the app and bg services, then you may need to perform a rolling restart of all CA PPM services.  Please schedule a suitable time to carry out this task to allow one hour downtime.
