When SMP/E is used to implement APARs and PTFs, sometimes errors can result. Examples of these errors are:
2150I ASSEMBLED ORIGIN LOWER THAN START OF PHASE
2145I CSECT ORIGIN NOT ON DOUBLEWORD BOUNDARY
This can happen in a CA IDMS CV when running under any operating system.
The errors indicate a problem with the APAR or PTF, usually because of an error in the download.
Most often, these errors can be resolved by using FTP to download the APAR or PTF with these attributes:
2- no crlf
3- no ascii
5- lrecl 80
