How do you APPLY maintenance to CA CSM?


Steps to Apply Maintenance to CA CSM:

1.  If you have not already done so, migrate the CA CSM CSI into CSM.

- From the Software Status Tab, on the left under CA CSM ACTIONS, click Migrate SMP/E Environment                     

- Specify the SMP/E Environment name and your CA CSM CSI dataset name and click MIGRATE


2. Update the Software Catalog with the CA CSM maintenance                                                                              

 - From the Products Tab, find CA Chorus Software Manager, right click on the release 6.0 and select GET LATEST    MAINTENANCE.


3. From the SMP/E Environments Tab, select your CA CSM CSI and click MAINTENANCE


4. Review and APPLY the desired maintenance. 

5. Stop CA CSM.

   -  To do this shutdown MSMMUF, MSMDBSRV then MSMTC.

6. Deploy the maintenance for CA CSM to the CA CSM run-time libraries and USS paths.                                           

- Customize the hlq.RT.JCL(MSMDEPLY) job and specify deploy specified for arg1.


7. Submit the job.

8. Start CA CSM.  

  - Start MSMMUF, MSMDBSRV then MSMTC.                                                                                                                 

- CA CSM becomes operational with the maintenance.
