Issue:
CA PPM Application running slow and getting the "Out Of Memory" Error Messages. The Error Messages coming from BO Server, the Reports were stalled and orphan session and ghost "Child Job Services" running in the background.
Environment:
Business Objects Reports Server 
Resolution:
A) We stop the BO Services
B) Disable the any job services that are not be in used.
C) Add the Number of instances for Job Services to 10
D) Add the following Job Service Switch -checkChildForNonExistence 1, so it will clean the Orphan / Ghost Job Services to be removed.
E) Restart the BO Server

A) Best Practice is to Schedule anything that takes longer to refresh
B) Please use more filters when viewing reports immediately or scheduling
C) Scheduling allows lower user wait time when implemented correctly
D) Allows you to offset processing to non-peak times
E) Can help distribute load and reduce sizing requirements for users
F) Reduces impact on Database during peak times
