Cause:

The crash occurs when a command like this one is executed during upgrade :

amObjectManager -IMPORTCONTENTS:".\data_install\am_contents\detection modules" -IMPORTRESOURCE:".\data_install\am_contents\strings.de

This command is used to import some data in database.

In this example the importation is made for German language.

But if initial installation has been made in English, a crash occurs.

Resolution:

Generally this crash could be ignored as data are already present in database and there is no new data to import.

But if you would like to avoid the crash you could do this :

1- Execute this command before ITCM DOMAIN upgrade :

ccnfcmda -cmd SetParameterValue -ps itrm/common/localization -pn language -v enu

2- Do the upgrade. Normally the crash should not occur

3- You could set the desired language again after upgrade.

Example for German :

ccnfcmda -cmd SetParameterValue -ps itrm/common/localization -pn language -v deu
