Introscope from 9.1x until 10x
Step 1: Create a simple batch script to send Introscope alerts to a txt file.
You need to use %1 to pass the message to the batch script.
Step 2: Create a simple alert based on GC Heap: Bytes in Use:
Step 3: Create a new shell action:
Step 4: Configure the shell script for both the danger and caution thresholds:
Step 5: Enable the shell action, and specify the location of the above batch script:
Step 6: New alerts will be sent to both the console and test.txt.
