?Thank you for inquiring about version 10 Automation Engine. As a prerequisite to upgrading to version 10, we recommend you have version 8 of Applications Manager installed and running (which you do, so this isn't a problem). If you do not plan to upgrade you can install version 10 in a separate environment and build new jobs in the tool. 
 
We highly recommend training prior to installing version 10, as extensive work has gone into building advanced features not available in prior versions, and the look and feel will be somewhat different than what you are accustomed to.  Version 10 may require you to make some changes to take advantage of the new functionality provided.  
 
I will be contacting your Customer Relations Manager to inform them of your interest in the version 9 product. They will contact you to better understand your upgrade plans and provide recommendations regarding next steps.
