AM explorer cannot be opened and throws AwE-9999 error messages
Detailed Description and Symptoms
The user is able to log in to the client, but when you try to load the Explorer an AwE-9999 error pops up and the Explorer can't be opened. This happens on all clients.
The error seen in the GUI is:
 at java.lang.String.compareTo(Unknown Source)
 at com.appworx.client.screen.explorer.X$
 at java.util.Arrays.mergeSort(Unknown Source)
The cause for this problem can be the following:
There is a component in a process flow which has a null so_execute_order column. Possibly this occurred during an ad-hoc insert into a process flow, or when a user submitted jobs via an api or sql procedure.
In order to track down the root cause of this problem, it has to be determined what job has the null execute order. Before updating the tables to set so_execute_order to 0, a SELECT statement can be run to find out what job and what process flow is causing this problem.
Afterwards an investigation on how this job was submitted can be done (via a schedule, their own job submission, etc).
- was this job submitted in one database and they just performed a database move or backup?
- did a failover occur at that time?
- did someone manually delete the job from sqlplus?
- what happened with that job?
