Alarm Sub Console gives "No contact with NAS" error for some users when logging in

Some users may wish to launch the 'alarmsubconsole.exe' program as a standalone utility. Normally when launching this utility, users are prompted ?to sign in and view the alarms successfully. ?Other users can launch the program and when prompted to sign in, they get an error that says "No contact with NAS". ?

To resolve this issue, have the user in question log into Infrastructure Manager, and then go to Tools->Options.

In the "Alarm Server" section, choose <default> and click OK.

This should resolve the issue and allow users to log in to the alarm subconsole.
