Alarm severity in Spectrum OneClick not updated when Event Configuration changed

Issue:

After changing the alarm severity of an event using the Event Configuration, the severity of an existing alarm for that event in Spectrum OneClick did not change.

Cause:

Existing alarms are written to the Spectrum database. After changing the alarm severity for an event, Spectrum will not re-evaluate existing alarms for that event. The change will only take affect for future events. Alarms for any new events generated after making the change will reflect the new severity.

Resolution:

No resolution. Functioning as designed.
