Alarm History Not Showing In The Unified Management Portal (UMP)

Alarms with existing history can be seen with alarm detail via the NAS probe in the Transaction Log in the Infrastructure Manager (thick client), but in the Unified Management Portal (UMP) users can click on alarms to look at detail, but can not see the transaction history for that alarm.


All current Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM) versions.


To make transaction history available in UMP do the following:

  1. Go into NAS GUI > Setup tab > NiS Bridge tab
  2. Ensure the check boxes are checked for:
    • Activate NiS bridge
    • Log transaction details(As shown in image below)
  3. Click "OK" (or "Apply")
