Sysload Agents for Windows
The agent monitors the Windows servers. An agent represents a Monitored Object (the server on which the agent is installed).Note: In addition to the counters listed below, the agent exposes diagnostic metrics. Sysload Agents for UNIX & Linux
The agent monitors the Unix and Linux servers. An agent represents a Monitored Object, (the server on which the agent is installed).
Note: In addition to the indicators listed below, the agent exposes diagnostic metrics. Refer to the "Agents for Operating Systems" document for a complete description of these metrics.
Important: The agent exposes a common list of metrics for each Unix and Linux server. The availability of the metric depends on the distribution of the operating system. See "Agent for Unix, Administrator Guide" for details on the availability of metrics by OS type.

The agent monitors the VMware hosts.
