Question:

Why won't the agent start after I upgraded the java in the agent directory?

Environment:
The applies to all the agents, ESP, CA7, AE (Autosys), DE (Dseries)
Answer:

The agent java should only be upgraded by installing product updates (service packs, patches, new release). You will need to upgrade to the latest version available on support.ca.com under the download center.
