Issue:

After upgrading the Secure Domain Manager (SDM) and Secure Domain Connector (SDC) to Spectrum 10.2, the SpectroSERVER is not establishing connection to Secure Domain Connector. The SDM/SDC connection is unstable and constantly bouncing

Environment:
Spectrum 10.2 running on all supported platforms
Cause:

A defect in the code causing the instability has been found

Resolution:

The defect has been addressed with Spectrum_10.02.00.D141. If you experience the same issue, please open a support case with us to obtain the same.

Important:

For the patch to resolve the problem, the SDM must initiate the connection (-remoteconnect). The patch will not work if the SDC initiates the connection.

Example File Contents:

After installing the patch Spectrum_10.02.00.D141 (read the release notes to install the patch), edit the sdm.config and sdc.config on the SDM and SDC boxes respectively as below:

1. sdm.config (path: %SPECROOT%\SDM)

-remoteconnect {SDC box ip}

Example:

-remoteconnect 10.10.1.2

2. sdc.config (path in Windows: X:\Program Files\CA\SDMConnector\bin (where X is the drive where connector is installed))

-accept {SDM box ip}

Example:

-accept 10.131.234.123
