Issue:
After upgrading the CA Release Automation Agent to 6.6, <AgentInstall>/jre/bin/java -version is still showing as being version 1.8.0_72
Environment:
CA Release Automation v6.6
Linux
Cause:
The version 1.8.0_72 is the version used by the v6.3 agent. There is a known defect where the jre is not upgraded to 1.8.0_162 if the agent had been upgraded from 5.5.2 to 6.3 and then to 6.6. When this problem occurs a file jre_upgrade.cleanup is usually present with the privileges -rw-r--r--

The upgrades usually create backups of the conf directory. If these backup folders were not deleted then you usually can verify whether or not the agent had been 5.5.2 at some point by reviewing the version file in each one of the conf backup folders created during upgrades.
