Question:

After upgrade to CA MAT 11.0 there are error messages at the end of the MATUNE server log.  Why?

Answer:

REASON:

These messages were displayed because the client used the CA MAT 9.0 Global Information File (GIF) as input into the newly installed CA MAT 11.0.  The GIF of one CA MAT release can not be used in another CA MAT release.

ERROR RESOLUTION:

There are two ways to resolve these error:

1. In your CA MAT 11.0, ensure that in the BACTUN member from the UTRSAMP library the TUNDB is pointing to the correct CA MAT 11.0 GIF file.

2. Reallocate the GIF of CA MAT 11.0.  You can do this by running Step 3 of TRCUST. (See https://docops.ca.com/ca-mat/11/en/installing/customize-ca-mat/step-3-create-the-global-information-file).

Additional Information:

FOR MORE INFORMATION about the GIF and migrating from your current CA MAT release to your new CA MAT release, go to
