Issue:

After successful installation on Linux, the Spectrum Secure Domain Connector (SDC) does not start and you will see following message in the telnet session when manually started with ./SDMConnector --start

/SdmConnectorService.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libGlobl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Environment:
Spectrum Secure Domain Connector (SDC) installed on Linux
Resolution:

Please verify by running

ldd SDMConnector

You will receive a list of binaries which could not be loaded from the SDMConnector/bin directory

SDMConnector does require a symbolic link from /opt/SPECTRUM/bin to the SDMConnector/bin.

Please check if such a link symbolic link does exist by running ls -l from the /opt/SPECTRUM directory. If it does not show the correct link , please remove and create the correct link by running following commands from /opt/SPECTRUM :

rm lib

ln -s <your SDMConnector>/bin
