After Initial Setup of AXA, Users are Unable to Login into AXA using an IP Address

Issue:

     After initial setup of AXA, users are unable to login into AXA using an IP address. Logins using local host are successful though.

Environment:
On Premise AXA installations using version 16.x.
Resolution:

     There are two relevant files controlling which urls can be used to access AXA. These are <AXA Home>/apache-tomee-plus-1.7.1/webapps/admin/masteradmin/endpoints.json and the OS file /etc/hosts.

The hosts files should have an entry: <Ip Address> <fqdn> <hostname>
...and the endpoints.json file should contain http(s)://<hostname or ip>:<port>/<resource>

The hostname or ip address used in the endpoints file can then be used to access AXA remotely. Please note that if the endpoints.json is edited, the AXA frontend will need to be restarted. This can be done using the start and stop scripts <axa home>/opt/ca/axa/bin with the -F argument. For example:

./stopServices -F
./startServices -F
