Admin console unreachable after upgrade to 8.2

The admin console page was not available after an upgrade.

The browser showed: "The web page is not available" when trying to access the web admin console after upgrading to CA UIM (NMS) version 8.2.

Since the link uses port 8080, e.g.,
http://<UIM_server_name_or_IP>:8080/adminconsole

I decided to check the port using netstat to see if another process was using it.

netstat - an | findstr "8080" showed a TON of connections in FIN_WAIT state, approx. 100.

After a reboot to clear the socket connections, I redeployed all of the probes for the admin console from the local archive on the primary hub.

Then the "Sign In to admin console" screen displayed and the customer could login.

Issue resolved.
