Introduction:

How to find environmental information for TSSCFILE.

Question:

For audit purposes, we would like to see more environmental information available in the TSSCFILE run.
Is there a record that identifies the environment when extracted from a security file using TSS command?

Answer:

CA Top Secret 16.0 PTF RO92809 introduced an enhancement that add environmental record to the TSSCFILE OUT data file.

This maintenance will add new 0000 record to the TSSCFILE OUT data file. This record will contain the following relevant environmental data.       
                                                                          
        ID:   0000                 EXECUTION ENVIRONMENT                  
        33    36        4           EXECUTION SYSTEM SMFID                 
        37    44        8           EXECUTION DATE                         
        45    52        8           EXECUTION TIME                         
        53    96      44           SECURITY FILE DATASET NAME  

 

Sample the environmental record (ID Number 0000) in TSSCFILE output;
