The user interface does not provide a way for customers to backup/export application definitions.

In order to back up these definitions, direct mysql queries need to be run.
How can the Application Delivery Analysis applications be backed up?
The customer can run the following query to export the following information into a .csv file:

Application Name
Port number
Assigned servers' IP address
Assigned servers' hostnames

Mysql Query:

mysql -D super -t -e "SELECT a.applications_desc AS 'Application Name', a.port_list AS 'Port', inet_ntoa(s.address) AS 'Server IP', s.Servers_Desc AS 'Server Hostname' FROM (applications a INNER JOIN application_rules r ON a.app_id=r.application_id) INNER JOIN application_rules_to_scopes t ON(r.rule_id=t.rule_id) INNER JOIN servers s ON (s.server_ID=t.scope_ID) ORDER BY a.applications_desc;" > ApplicationServerMapping.csv
