Question 1:

If some business logic is called inside the JSP, does the JSP time include the business logic execution time?

Answer:

Yes, JSP:Average Response Time, is the Average response time of the _jspService() methods of all the JSPs executing in the JVM. The Response Times of all the individual JSPs are averaged to calculate this value.

 

Question 2:

If a redirection is done inside the JSP, does the JSP time include the time of the redirected JSP/Servlet? Or the time is shown in the separated metric corresponding to the redirected component?

Answer:

Yes, it includes the the time of the redirected page. As mentioned above, Individual JSP Response Times are available in the nodes marked with the JSP names.

 

Question 3:

Why does the peak time in Frontends and in JSPs not match? We suppose that Servlet time are also shown as Frontend time. Is that right?

Answer:

As per the above explanation, these will not match. This is because Servlet time also includes in Frontend time.
