Error Message :
a start attempt of the sysload oracle collector from the service panel returns the error message box:

In the sldord.log the process logging terminates abruptly after the message :

Description :Impossible to start the Oracle SP Analyst collector.

Root Cause: Check in the windows task manger ==> Process Panel:The reason for the problem is that sldorhst.exe is a subprocess depending from sldord.exe. Normally it is started and stopped with the collector process. If this process stays running, it will prevent the Oracle Collector to restart
Please note that this kind of issue can be encountered on any kind of SPanalyst agent on any system.
 
Resolution:
Kill the still running sldorhst.exe process
right click on the process ==> End task.

Go back to the service control panel (services.msc) and start the Sysload Oracle Collector again.
