QUESTION: A Spectrum User Group and all the User models associated with it were deleted accidentally. How do I get them back without having to recreate them all from scratch?
ANSWER: Spectrum User Group and User models are Global Models. Global Models exist on all landscapes unless otherwise specified. One of the models is flagged as the Master model and all others on the other landscapes are copies. Normally, the Master will exist on the Main Location Server (MLS) landscape. The exception is if the MLS landscape was an excluded landscape for that Global Model.
If Global Model was deleted, reloading a previously saved database, from before the model was deleted, onto the landscape where the Master was modeled will recreate the Master and force copies to all the other landscapes as before. Again, normally, the Master will be located on the MLS landscape.
