A Multiple Notification log is not displayed in the Notification History.

Question:

If a notification is sent out by a Multiple Notification Macro, nothing is written in the Notification History of a ticket the Macro is attached. Is there a way to display the Notification log?

e.g. The Notification History opened from View, Notification History of the Change Order 34 shows only notification logs created by Activity Notifications.

Answer:

The Notification log is not displayed in the ticket Notification History opened from View, Notification History of a ticket if the Notification is sent out by the Multiple Notification Macro.

This is working by design. In order to display it, please follow the below steps.

 

  1. Log into Service Desk Manager and open the Service Desk tab.

  2. Go to View, Notification History.

  3. Type a part of the Notification Subject in 'Message Header' field or specify a Contact in the 'Recipient' field.  If the Notification sent out by the Multiple Notification Email does not contain a ticket number in its subject, please specify an appropriate keyword in search fields.

    e.g. Search Notification sent out to the Contact "ServiceDesk" and which has "34" in the subject field.

  4. Click the Search button.

  5. The search result shows the following.
